PEARBLOSSOM — Businesses considering development along Pearblossom Highway should review the county’s Blossom Community Corridor standards. County planning materials describe efforts to limit certain truck- and vehicle-oriented businesses, protect landscape character and guide commercial design.
The Pearblossom Community Standards District became effective February 22, 2024. Planning background identified concerns about metal plating, truck storage, commercial vehicle sales and some drive-through facilities along the corridor.
Proposals and laws are not identical
A preliminary staff report may describe restrictions differently from the final adopted code. Owners should verify current land-use and zoning maps, any lawful existing uses, and permit requirements before financing a project.
